Hello there. In my quest to find more answers to all the rumors and speculation as to what the new Sony PlayStation 4 video game console will be called, I can now say without a doubt that it will indeed be titled the "PS Orbis."
For concrete proof, go to http://www.psorbis.com/ and you can clearly see that this is Sony's own website. Furthermore, if you run a "whois" report on this link, you will also see that the domain is owned soley by the Sony Corporation. There you go folks; rumors are now confirmed and history is in the making.

What is expected from the PS Orbis and what are fans expecting?
As
already mentioned, the anticipated PS4 is set to make its debut in 2013. This
makes it pretty close to the launch of the X-Box 720 which is also set to be
released in 2013. The exact release
date has yet to be officially confirmed, but rest assured it will happen, and
when it does, it's rumored to "change the gaming atmosphere as we know
it".

The
new Sony PlayStation console which many assumed would be the PS4, is rumored to
be named PS Orbis with the release date is set for November or December of 2013.
The name Orbis is taken from the Latin term Orbis Vitae meaning circle or life.
Kotaku, a gaming news site, is the originator of the news apparently from a trusted source. PS Orbis will use an AMD x64 CPU processing unit and a GPU provided by Southern Islands AMD. The GPU can manage high resolutions that are compatible with the next generation of high definition 3D-TVs.
It is also said that the PlayStation 4 will be incompatible with used games. The owner has to use the internet to sign up with new PlayStation Network account for the game to start. The account will come with every disc. To access the full game content, second hand buyers will have to pay an unlock fee.
